Our style strikes a chord with charities because we are independent, high conviction, active managers focused upon producing consistent performance within clearly identified risk parameters.    These are discussed and agreed with each charity on a regular basis, and we aim for a positive return irrespective of market movement.

We manage portfolios using a disciplined investment process and methodology. Our overall aim is to protect capital in falling markets and maximise returns on a risk adjusted basis in rising markets, with a bias towards producing absolute total returns.

We see little value for our clients in relative outperformance in falling markets and are not, therefore, closet index trackers.
